The start of it all! I love making cutting boards. I personally feel it’s the center piece of making dinner because it engages conversation and functions as a useful tool.
My Salty Chef line of cutting and charcuterie boards will enhance your kitchen as well as your cooking experience.
It starts with selecting the right woods. All the wood I source is kiln dried and when done right, this allows the wood to dry more evenly from the inside out. It also has to come from reputable hardwood dealers and sawmills that follow sustainable forestry practices. Why? Because it matters.
